The musical tradition in worship at St John's is strong.
Each Sunday worship is led by a 30+ strong choir of children
and adults. Music is drawn from the full breadth of the English
tradition from the 16th century to the present day.
St John's has many Diocesan and National Award winners.
St John's enjoys a large three manual organ.
An organ scholarship is offered each year.
The Music @ St John's concert series aims both to give opportunities
to musicians to perform in this beautiful church and also to
raise money for the continuing repair of the building.
